To register for a Wikispaces account
- Go to http://www.wikispaces.com - Enter a username, password, and email address. - You will need to go to your email to confirm your registration. - Decline to create a wiki and Wikispaces will take you directly to your "Dashboard" for your account. - There is a "Favorite Wikis" box about in the middle of your window. Type in "tonykrug" (without the quote marks) and select tonykrug.wikispaces.com from the choices that pop up. - In the Favorite Wikis box now type "webed" and select webed.wikispaces.com. - To the right of each wiki name there is an "Actions" link. When clicked a drop down menu offers a "Join" option. - Select Join and Wikispaces will take you to the site offering a Comment box. Identify yourself as a student at JBC in CPED 5300. and Submit. - You cannot Comment or edit on the site until I accept your petition to join the site (which I will do ASAP). - Once accepted, you can go to Edit Page to make changes on a page, and to the Discussion tab to do a review. - To post a comment, click on the Discussion Topic and scroll down through the review and earlier comments to a Comment box. When finished with your comment, click on the Post button. - There is a Create New Page in the upper left to make your introduction. Uploading an image file may be a bit of a challenge, but then go to the Image button on the Edit toolbar to add the image to your page.
